Gina's Rose (MORgina) PRR
LOOK, NO THORNS! An attractive plant to about five feet tall. Glossy foliage on a completely thornless plant. Flowers are an attractive medium red in buds and open flower. Single (5 petals), centered with a cluster of golden stamens. Blooms from spring to frost, usually in clusters of 3 to 5 or more. An excellent plant along path or driveway due to its lake of thorns (prickles). Especially desirable if small children are around. One of my personal favorites. In fall/winter after leaves fall, the smooth canes and twigs become reddish/purple color.
Parentage: 'Basye’s Legacy' X 'Playboy'.
